We have specialist experience in test amd measurement, school lab equipment, audio, and motorcycle comms. However we are happy to consider any domestic or industrial PCB repair work e.g. hotel or pub pa systems, key fobs, hifi (including retro), dj systems, lighting systems and so on
Repair terms & conditions
In the spirit of trying to minimise electronics needlessly ending up in landfill, if you have a low cost item, say under £100, please get in touch and we will assess the case and if it can be fixed quickly and economically we will consider it on a case by case basis, and send you an estimate before proceeding.
Yes, we can provide you with an estimate based on the information you give us about your device. Please keep in mind that it is the customer’s responsibility to reach out for an estimate prior to sending their device. Once we receive the device. We assume you have already received a quote. Feel free to contact us via our contact form to ask for an estimate for repair for your device. Also keep in mind, that estimates are a ball-park cost based on the information we receive about your device. It can be more or less depending on the issue.
Repair turn around time is variable particularly if we are busy but we will always update you.
REPAIR RISK FACTORS
Electronic repairs can be unpredictable. your device may be beyond repair or possibly permanently damaged during repair. Electronic components can fail over time, especially if a device has been a victim of liquid damage. In that case components can oxidize, corrode and ruse over time.
Repairs with glued on screens- Screens are very delicate and require a prying process to remove. Although we are extremely careful there is still a risk that the display could break or crack during the process. Also touch i.d. etc can also fail in this process.
Repair Attempt Fee
We charge a repair attempt fee for most devices that involve board repairs, data recovery or devices that had prior repair attempts. If repair is unsuccessful or data recovery is not possible, or the device was previously worked on before it arrived at our shop you will be charged a repair attempt fee ranging from £40-£100 to cover the time spent working on your device.
Repairs come with a 3-month warranty on parts replaced and labour rendered.
Shipping – Customers are responsible for arranging shipping to & from us. If you are arranging shipping and have a valuable item it is your responsibility to arrange insurance. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.
We reserve the right to dispose or re-use items not collected within three months of notification of completion. Items arranged to be collected after that period will be charged a monthly storage fee.
Estimates
We always try to be as careful as possible but repair estimates are not guaranteed final and all inclusive. Sometimes, you won’t know the extent of a fault until you have performed some work. We will however update you if this evolves. All changes must be approved by you before we proceed. we will not do this without your say so.

Book in advance. Some items are while you wait, but unfortunately we can’t currently accomodate you on site- Grab a coffee and it’ll be done when you get back!

Payment terms and conditions
Payment is either required on collection of your item, or if its being shipped it will need paying in advance. We do not offer credit terms. If you are having trouble paying us please contact us first. If payment is not received in a reasonable time period items will either be scrapped or kept for parts.

Whilst we try to take every precaution possible, we do not guarantee the safety or security of your data. We cannot assume responsibility for lost data as a result of work undertaken on your device.
